MauveLink-IR is the answer to the problem of delivering todays interactive digital TV services to viewers scattered throughout an office.

No longer does each user need a digital set-top box at each desk with clumsy coax cables running through the building. Instead, all the digi-boxes are kept in the comms room and controlled remotely from the desktop.

A single, low-cost cat.5 cable is all that is required between the user and the set-top box. Audio and video signals are transmitted in one direction and control information the other. The user can even use the standard remote control supplied with the set-top box.

MauveLink-IR is not limited to set-top boxes but can be used to control DVD players, VCR's or any other infra-red controlled device.

 The AV source is connected to the MauveLink-IR transmitter. Video is via phono connectors, audio is via 3,5mm stereo jack. The infra-red emitter is "velcro'd" on to the AV source and connects to the transmitter via a short coax cable.

The 4-port and 8-port hubs enable the same AV source to be delivered to up to 8 monitors (expandable) with infra-red control available from up to 4 of them. Appications have been found in both domestic and corporate environments.
