The VGA-SPLIT-2 takes a single VGA signal and turns it in to 2 VGA signals – without needing a PSU
Yes, passive VGA splitters have been around for a while but they’re horrible. Reduced brightness, ghosting or even loss of pictures is the norm. But the VGA-SPLIT-2 is different thanks to active electronics driving the outputs at correct levels with correct impedance matching. When connected to the VGA o/p of a mau-jo receiver, the VGA-SPLIT is powered-up via the VGA cable. The same is true of most, but not all PC/laptop outputs. It’s not magic but it’s nice to pretend it is.
The original VGA-SPLIT-2 has almost sold-out and is being replaced by an improved full HD version in an extruded aluminium enclosure. This will be available in Feb 2014
